Commissions

Before commissioning me, please read my Terms of Services first. It is best for both parties that the client be knowledgeable or aware of the scope and limitations of the artists’s services in order to manage expectations.

Terms of Service

  • I maintain the rights for all my works and may use the commissioned art for self – promotion.
  • Strictly for personal use only or for the uses as stated in the contract.
  • All accepted painting commissions will be strictly in watercolor.
  • I do not accept spec work. I assume that once you commission me, you are interested in my style. Please don’t make me copy other artist’s style or work.
  • I have the right to decline a commission. However this will only be likely to happen if the commission work is outside of my service. I do the following: portraits, animals or pets, florals, landscapes, food illustration and other product illustrations, chibi illustrations. I do not do the following: digital art, mecha, fetish art, gore, buildings or architectural renders, cartoons, branding and identity.
  • I don’t accept rush work.
  • Working days are weekdays. I don’t entertain emails, inquiries, pms or dms on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
  • On terminated work orders: No part of terminated work orders may be used by the client.
  • The painting will be shipped unframed to avoid accidents. Shipping fee will be shouldered by the client. For international orders, additional taxes or fees shall also be shouldered by the client.

Process

Inquire the artist thru website, email or in any of their social media platforms. Wait for 24 – 48 hours to confirm. Payment of at least 50% and the signed contract is required to start the commission.

2 Sketch Concept

Artist will sketch or conceptualize based on clients references. At this point, up to 2 revisions can still be made. Sketches or concepts will be done either in pencil only, black & white or in small colored painting thumbnails depending on the commission.

3 Painting Art

This is the actual painting process. Turn around time is typically 3 – 7 days (or more) depending on the commission. Client will receive work in progress photos from time to time thru email or their social media platform of choice.

4 Deliver & Ship

Client will be notified if the commission is finished. Remaining balance shall be paid in order to get the deliverables. Artist will maintain close communication for clients who wish to get the original physical copy.

Simple portraits with more emphasis on realism. This commission is a 1:1 to rendering and requires minimal conceptualization. What the client sends, the artist will render as is so it is best that the client provides a high quality photo.

Floral Portrait

Artists stylized signature portrait. Feminine and delicate adorned with floral elements. Client can opt between choosing their choice of flowers or letting the artist choose for them. However, the artist will have the creative liberty in the artwork’s overall layout or design concept.

Hand drawn watercolors to add a unique touch. The artist offers this service for private clients, start-ups, and small businesses only. Both print and digital reproductions are possible including but not limited to: invitations, social media materials, menus, posters, packaging, flyers, etc. This commission requires the most research. Turn around time is 3 – 7 days but may vary depending on scope of the commission.

Size will be determined by the artist to ensure best outcomes.

Process

1 Research

Establishment of the big idea and the deliverables. The client shall communicate their requirements for the illustration such as: color palettes, inspirations, Pinterest pins, motifs, and themes. The artist then will interpret and compile these non-negotiables into a mood-board.

2 Painting

Creation of the traditional artwork. During the concept sketching phase, the client can still ask for up to 3 revisions. However, when the concept is approved, finalized, and ready to be watercolored, revisions are no longer allowed.

3 Application

Application of hand drawn illustration to the deliverables. The client can choose to have the designing phase outsourced or have the artist do it. In the event that the client chooses the artist to do the graphic design, an additional graphic designing fee will be added. The client will be offered 2 or 3 designs to choose from for up to 3 revisions.

4 Final Product

Production of the physical actual deliverables. The artist does not produce or supply printing services. Client will be responsible for sourcing the printing supplier. The artist can also ship all the originals to the client shall the client wish to get them.
